Boesner, they are really close to studio. Just go South on Greifswalder Str. to Marienburger Str. (on the right/west side of the street) and turn left right before the Kaisers on the corner. They've got more for painters, but they've got most of what we'd need.

OBI, carried rigid foam for 4,47€ for a sheet, about 2" thick, roughly 2'x4'; it's right up the street from studio on Greifswalder Str.

Hoba Baustoffhandel, we were told by the guy at OBI that we could buy rigid foam in bulk here. It's also up the street at the S-Bahn station at Greifswalder.

The particular foam we are looking for is called HARTSCHAUM PLATTEN, which translates to 'hard foam panels'.
ReplyDeleteWe have gone to all of these stores, minus Hoba Baustoffhandel, in the past two days and it is best if you take a full day and check each of these places out because the prices can vary greatly depending on what tools/supplies you are needing to buy.
Also, we noticed a shop on the west side of Greifswalder Strasse a little ways south of our studio that had some Staedtler supplies in the window display. It is more likely a hobby/crafts type store and not necessarily an art/drafting supply store based on the looks of it, but wont hurt to check it out.
